Does Mounjaro need to be refrigerated?

Your Mounjaro Kwikpen will arrive chilled and in insulated packaging.

Before taking your first dose, your Mounjaro Kwikpen should be stored in the fridge between 2-8 degrees Centigrade. Your unused pen is safe to use through to the expiry date printed on the label if it is stored in the fridge in this way. Make sure you do not freeze the liquid; if it may have been frozen, do not use it, and contact your healthcare professional for advice.

Once you have taken your first dose from a Mounjaro Kwikpen, you can then keep the pen at room temperature up to 30 degrees centigrade. Ensure you keep away from sources of heat e.g. a radiator, and that your Pen and needles are kept out of the reach of children at all times.
