How many Mounjaro doses are there in 1 pen?

There are 4 Mounjaro doses in each pen. Injections are taken once a week, so each pen lasts 4 weeks.

Important Note: it is normal for there to be some liquid left in the pen after your fourth dose. There is slightly more than 4 doses worth of liquid in each pen to allow you to prime your pen before each injection. There is no “5th dose” or “golden dose” in a Mounjaro pen, and you should not try to extract more than 4 doses of medication from each pen.
