Weight loss with a plan from start to finish
We believe that your weight loss treatment shouldn't go on forever. It's our job to get you to a place where you don't need us any more. Here's your 7-step plan for sustainable, healthy weight loss.
Step 1
Getting started
Take a free online assessment to tell us a bit about yourself and your medical history. If our clinicians think that a weight loss medication would be safe, suitable, and beneficial for you, then they'll issue a prescription, and the medication will be delivered to your door the next day. Once you've received your medication we'll help you get started. You'll get full instructions on how and when to take your medication, and we have a comprehensive help centre and customer service team on hand to deal with any queries.
Step 2
The first few weeks
So what does "fully supported" mean? If you wish, you can join one of our WhatsApp groups so that you can benefit from (and offer) peer-to-peer support. Our customer service team are on hand to deal with any admin queries you may have. Our clinicians are available if you have any medical questions relating to your treatment, for example if you are experiencing side effects they may prescribe anti-sickness medication to ease the symptoms (at no extra cost).
Step 3
Monthly check-in's
Every month we’ll check in with you to see how you are getting on, and to see if you have any side effects or other symptoms that need addressing. Depending on how you are doing, your clinician may recommend you increase your dose to further increase your weight loss.
Step 4
Behaviour Change Course
While the medication quietens the "food noise", you have more head space to think about other things, such as the lifestyle and psychological factors that contribute to weight management. Dr Adam Abbs' 16 Week Behaviour Change Course arms you with various tools and techniques to understand and improve your ability to recognise and control these factors. Alongside this, our clinicians might suggest that you increase your dose to further boost your weight loss, if it's safe to do so.
Step 5
Essential Nutrition Course
We don't want you to be on medication for ever, and neither do you. BUT, coming off medication often means that your appetite increases again, so we need to prepare you for that. You'll already have the behaviour change knowledge. Towards the end of your weight loss journey, we'll give you a 12 Week Essential Nutrition Course, by nutritionist Mei Wan.
Step 6
Free blood test
During the nutrition course you'll be invited to take a free blood test (taken at home and posted back to us, no need to travel). The blood test covers 12 different biomarkers including iron, calcium, magnesium, folic acid, vitamin D and vitamin B12. This gives our experts a detailed understanding of your nutritional health.
Step 7
Free nutritionist appointment
The blood test is followed up with a free online video appointment with a professional dietitian. They'll discuss your blood test results and give you personalised nutritional advice, setting you up for long-term success.
